Compared to most farms we have quite an unusual set up. We grow on three sites, totalling around 3 acres, which are all within 10 miles of Glasgow city centre. Two of them are in sheltered urban sites while the largest is on a windy hillside overlooking Glasgow.

We manage all of our growing to organic principals and all sites are in conversion to organic certification with the Soil Association.

Management of the sites is fairly intensively with several crops a year being grown in each of our beds. Nearly all of the work is performed by hand using smart but simple tools which balance efficiency with low overheads.
